Mercury goes retrograde before you know it. At 10:30 GMT tomorrow the tricky messenger reverses course, as he does three (or four times a year). This time he adds a little punch to his traction shifts by encountering Saturn (once already, two to go) and a most enigmatic galactic midpoint: the intersection of the Galactic and Super Galactic Centers (approximately 14 ½ degrees of Scorpio; once already, two to go).
Of course, Mercury rules words - verbal and written, proclamations, affirmations, intentions, promises and random utterances. Saturn is the big manifestation agent, who takes everything literally. As well, Saturn loves effort. Thinking, speaking and writing things down takes effort, and if well intentioned, such efforts fall into the category of heavy mental lifting, also known as work.
For those wondering why the notation of the Galactic and Super Galactic Center (Z/ZS) is stated as approximate - and Mercury in the especially inquisitive sign of Scorpio is inclined to wonder - there is a simple reason. The exact position of the Galactic Center depends upon what frequency of energy is being monitored, and as such, can vary. The exact position of the Super Galactic Center depends upon what part of what object one defines as the center point, and as such, can vary. Suffice it to say, 14.5 degrees of Scorpio is certainly close enough, especially if working with the transits several days before and after exactitude - a highly recommended suggestion.
The potency of Z/ZS is nothing short of astounding. Even though only a midpoint, it possesses alchemical magic. It’s a place where manifestations can be immediate, miraculous and nothing short of staggeringly wonderful. That is, given the galactic prerequisites are met. These are:
Speak in positive, inclusive sentences only. Do not state what you do not want or seek to avoid.
Avoid the use of contractions. Somehow apostrophes do not compute in the processing centers of the galactic essences.
Ensure subconscious fears, inherited anxieties and affirmations designed to offset worry are cleared from your consciousness before any ceremony of declaration/affirmation, whether written or spoken.
When the mind and psyche are clear, proclamations rendered during transits to Z/ZS tend to bring immediate indications of movement toward major manifestation, though completion of life-altering results may take months or even years. The other notable requirement of Z/ZS is that wish power must be matched with serious, well-intended, totally dedicated action. Couch-based consciousness will not quite cut the mustard. With Saturn near this magical midpoint, the stakes of the action following intention scenario increase significantly.

October 28 - Mercury retrograde on Z/ZS
Scan affirmations, goals, aspirations. Cull out those that do not apply. Eliminate those that your subconscious fears may be outside the bounds of achievability.
Create, but do not define, an interim set of goals.
Notice your energetic reaction to each of your interim goals. Do they motivate you and draw you in? If so, those are the ones to keep.
Delete events and meetings from your schedule that do not match objectives that further your spirit and psyche.
October 29 - Saturn and Mercury conjoin.
Attend to all communications with impeccable clarity. Saturn wants anything said or nuance inferred to end up carved in stone.
November 5 - the Sun aligns with Z/ZS
November 7 - Saturn aligns with Z/ZS
These three days are a big deal. The Sun requires conscious attention. As well, it aligns in virtual time with Saturn’s only passage to Z/ZS in this visit to Scorpio.
Complete the energetic reality test of all goals. If your heart fills, and your spirit soars, keep the goal. If your stomach churns, replace it with something psychically palatable.
Define everything in complete and yet unspecific terms. Saying you want to make X amount of money shunts the ability to make more than X.
After committing your goals, define what you will do in the next year to make this happen.
Then, establish what you will do in the next 3 ½ years to bring the goals further down the road.
And then, set a seven-year track of action.
November 23 - Mercury direct conjoins Z/ZS
This is the completion point of the present make magic cycle. Do the affirmations. Make a pocket list and carry them with you... written in your hand on paper. None of this “goals on the tablet” or other electronic device syndrome. Saturn wants it consecrated with your physical effort.
Have the ceremony. Celebrate. Reaffirm your lucidness hourly. Give thanks.
